Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Apple Mixture:

  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

For the Fudge Base:

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Prepare the Apple Mixture:

    • In a small saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
    • Add the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
    • Cook for about 5–7 minutes until the apples are softened and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • Make the Fudge Base:

    • In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
    • Warm over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully blended. Remove from heat.
  • Combine & Set:

    • Fold the cooled apple mixture into the fudge base, ensuring even distribution of apple pieces.
    • Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or until firm) before cutting into squares.
  • Serve:

    • Once set, cut the fudge into small squares and serve chilled. Enjoy this unique dessert that brings the essence of apple pie to every bite.

Notes

  • Ensure the apple mixture is completely cooled before adding it to the fudge base to prevent melting the chocolate.
  • This fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For an extra touch, sprinkle a few graham cracker crumbs or a light dusting of cinnamon on top before serving.
