Description

These adorable Babybel Bunnies are the perfect addition to an Easter charcuterie board. Made with Babybel cheese, fresh vegetables, and simple decorations, they add a fun and festive touch to any Easter gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Babybel cheese rounds (red wax removed, leaving some for decoration)
  • 12 almond slices or small pieces of mozzarella (for bunny ears)
  • 12 black sesame seeds or black peppercorns (for eyes)
  • 6 small pink peppercorns or tiny pieces of carrot (for noses)
  • 1 small carrot, sliced into thin matchsticks (for whiskers)
  • Fresh parsley or chives (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Babybel Cheese: Remove the red wax casing, leaving a small strip at the bottom to resemble bunny cheeks.
  2. Create the Bunny Ears: Insert two almond slices or small mozzarella pieces at the top of each cheese round to form ears.
  3. Make the Face:
    • Press two black sesame seeds or black peppercorns onto each cheese round for eyes.
    • Attach a small pink peppercorn or carrot piece for the nose.
    • Arrange thin carrot matchsticks as whiskers under the nose.
  4. Decorate the Board: Place the Babybel Bunnies on a charcuterie board alongside crackers, fresh veggies, cured meats, and Easter treats.
  5. Serve and enjoy these cute Easter-themed bites!

Notes

  • Use edible food glue or a small dab of cream cheese to help attach decorations if needed.
  • Swap almond slices for small pretzels or cucumber slices for a different look.
  • Perfect for pairing with fruit, nuts, and dips on a charcuterie board.
