Description

A healthy, easy side dish featuring tender cauliflower florets roasted to perfection with olive oil and a blend of simple seasonings. Crisp on the edges and soft inside, it’s a versatile dish that pairs well with any main course.


Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 23 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

 

  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare:

    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
    • Place the cauliflower florets in a large bowl.
  • Season:

    • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Bake:

    • Spread the florets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and golden around the edges.

 

  • Optional Finishing Touch:

    • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan over the roasted cauliflower and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra crunch, try adding a handful of toasted breadcrumbs before serving.
  • To keep it vegan, simply omit the Parmesan cheese.
