For the Banana Bread Cake:

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×9-inch cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
- Stir in the sour cream or buttermilk until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely in the pan before frosting.
- To make the frosting, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until fully combined. Add heavy cream to achieve the desired frosting consistency.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
- Slice and serve!
