Description

A luxurious and comforting pasta dish featuring tender lobster meat tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon and herbs.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 oz (340g) linguine or spaghetti
  • 2 lobster tails (about 8 oz/225g total), cooked and chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) dry white wine or seafood stock
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the white wine or seafood stock and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped lobster meat and cook for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
  5. Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly cooked or pre-cooked lobster tails for convenience.
  • You can substitute shrimp or crab for lobster if desired.
  • For a creamier sauce, stir in a splash of heavy cream at the end.
