Description

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
    • Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish.
    • Bake for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  • Make the Caramel Filling:

    • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring continuously.
    • Add heavy cream and continue stirring for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
    • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
    • Pour the caramel mixture over the cooled crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes until set.
  • Add the Pecan Topping:

    • Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the caramel layer.
    • Drizzle with extra caramel sauce for an extra gooey touch.
  • Serve and Enjoy:

    • Optionally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of sea salt.
    • Slice and serve chilled or at room temperature!
