Description

Cheese Crisps are a quick and easy snack made from just one ingredient—cheese! These crispy, savory bites are perfect for low-carb and keto diets and can be enjoyed on their own or as a crunchy topping for soups and salads.

 


Ingredients

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Parmesan, mozzarella, or a mix)

– Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– Optional: 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– Optional: Black pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

2. Place small heaps (about 1 tablespoon each) of shredded cheese onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each pile.

3. If desired, sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, or black pepper for extra flavor.

4. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and edges are golden brown.

5. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes until they become crispy.

6. Carefully transfer to a plate and enjoy!

 


Notes

– Use pre-shredded cheese for convenience, but freshly grated cheese melts and crisps up better.

– Experiment with different cheese varieties for unique flavors.

– Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature.
