Description

These crispy Cheesecake Egg Rolls are a delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake filling wrapped in a crunchy golden-brown shell. Perfectly sweet and satisfying, they make a fantastic dessert or snack that can be served with fruit toppings, chocolate drizzle, or caramel sauce!

Ingredients

**For the Egg Rolls:**

– 8 egg roll wrappers

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 1/2 tsp lemon juice

– 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

– 1 egg (for egg wash)

– Oil for frying

**For the Topping:**

– 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

– Caramel or chocolate sauce (optional)

Instructions

1. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and cinnamon (if using) until smooth and creamy.

2. Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Place 1–2 tablespoons of the cheesecake mixture in the center.

3. Brush the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg.

4. Fold in the sides and tightly roll the wrapper around the filling, sealing the edges. Repeat with remaining wrappers.

5. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

6. Fry the egg rolls in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

7. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.

8. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with caramel or chocolate sauce.

Notes

– Air fryer method: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

– Use different fillings like Nutella or fruit preserves for a fun twist.

– Best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge and reheated in an oven or air fryer.
