Description

This Cottage Cheese Peanut Butter Mousse is a creamy, protein-packed dessert that combines the rich flavors of peanut butter and cottage cheese. It’s light, fluffy, and perfect for a healthy yet indulgent treat.

 


Ingredients

– 1 cup cottage cheese

– 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)

– 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

– 1/2 cup whipped cream or Greek yogurt (optional, for extra fluffiness)

– Pinch of salt (optional)

– Chopped peanuts or chocolate chips (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

1. In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. For a fluffier texture, fold in the whipped cream or Greek yogurt (optional).

3. Taste and add a pinch of salt if desired, adjusting sweetness if needed.

4. Transfer the mousse to serving bowls or glasses.

5. Garnish with chopped peanuts or chocolate chips if desired.

6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the mousse to set.

7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

 


Notes

– For a vegan version, substitute the cottage cheese with vegan cream cheese or silken tofu and use maple syrup instead of honey.

– This mousse can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
