These Crab Crescent Bites are the perfect appetizer for any occasion. Tender crab meat is wrapped in flaky crescent dough, baked to golden perfection, and topped with a creamy sauce for a delicious bite-sized treat.
Ingredients
– 1 can crescent dough sheets
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
– 1 tbsp green onions, chopped
– 1 tbsp lemon juice
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into small squares (about 2×2 inches).
3. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
4. Place a spoonful of the crab mixture onto each square of dough.
5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the crab mixture.
6. Fold the corners of the dough to form a small bite-sized packet or triangle.
7. Place the filled dough bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Brush the tops of the crescent bites with melted butter.
9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
10. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
– You can use imitation crab meat as a more affordable option.
– These bites are best served fresh out of the oven, but they can also be reheated.
– For added flavor, consider topping with a drizzle of tartar sauce.
