4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to an even thickness)

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Garlic Sauce:

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
    • Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
    • Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat evenly with the breadcrumb–Parmesan mix.
  • Cook the Chicken:

    • In a large skillet, heat about ¼ inch of vegetable oil over medium heat.
    • Fry the chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
    • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Make the Garlic Sauce:

    • In a clean pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
    • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Allow the sauce to simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
    • Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve:

    • Plate the crispy chicken and generously drizzle with the rich garlic sauce. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
