Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (use a lean cut like 90/10)

1/3 cup water

5 ounces tomato sauce

1/2 cup ketchup

1 Tablespoon yellow mustard

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons chili powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon onion powder or minced onion
Instructions

Cook the Ground Beef:

In a medium skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef and water.

Constantly break up the ground beef while it cooks to ensure it’s as fine as possible.

Drain the Beef:

Once the beef is fully cooked, drain off any remaining water or grease.

Combine Ingredients in the Crockpot:

Add the cooked beef to your slow cooker.

Add all the remaining ingredients (tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, black pepper, sugar, and onion powder).

Stir everything together until well combined.

Cook in the Crockpot:

Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 2½ hours, stirring occasionally.
