Description

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces with Italian seasoning, salt, smoked paprika, onion powder, and black pepper. Toss to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the spices.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken pieces in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 4-6 minutes on each side until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. If necessary, cook in batches to maintain proper searing. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat each piece with the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
