Description
Indulge in luxurious, tender lobster tails with smoky char marks, drizzled in a rich garlic lemon butter sauce. Perfect for a special occasion or an elegant dinner at home.
Ingredients
For the Lobster Tails:
4 lobster tails (6–8 oz each)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
For the Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce:
1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the Lobster Tails:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C).
- Using kitchen shears, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping at the tail fin. Gently loosen the meat and pull it up to rest on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture generously over the lobster meat.
- Grill the Lobster Tails:
- Place lobster tails shell-side down on the grill. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly charred.
- Make the Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce:
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and keep warm.
- Serve:
- Drizzle the garlic lemon butter sauce over the grilled lobster tails. Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side for dipping. Pair with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce.
Ensure the grill is well-oiled to prevent the lobster tails from sticking.
Substitute fresh parsley with chives or dill for a different herb flavor.
