- 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank)
- 1 tbsp olive oil

- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 ripe tomato, sliced
- 2–3 leaves of lettuce
Herb Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prep the steak:
- Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a grill or skillet over high heat and cook the steak to your desired doneness (medium-rare recommended).
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
- Make the herb sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, garlic powder, and dill.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the sandwich:
- Spread the herb sauce on the inside of the toasted baguette.
- Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and avocado slices on the bottom half.
- Add steak slices and drizzle with additional herb sauce if desired.
- Serve and enjoy:
- Close the sandwich, slice, and serve warm.
