For the Biscuit Slice:
- 250g ginger biscuits (or digestive biscuits)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup golden syrup or honey
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp allspice (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
For the Spiced Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp milk or cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Prepare the Biscuit Mixture:
- Crush the ginger biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, brown sugar, and golden syrup. Stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, and condensed milk.

- Pour the mixture over the crushed biscuits and stir until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into a lined 8×8-inch (20cm) baking dish using the back of a spoon.

- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- Pour the glaze over the biscuit slice, spreading evenly.

- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until firm.
