Description

This decadent pie brings together the best of both worlds—a rich, chocolatey crust, a creamy peanut butter filling, and chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Perfect for dessert lovers, this pie offers a satisfying balance of sweet, salty, and nutty flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

For the Chocolate Crust:
• 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (or Oreos, with filling removed)
• 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter

For the Peanut Butter Filling:
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Reese’s Layer:
• 1 1/2 cups chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (reserve a few for garnish)

For the Topping (Optional):
• 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
• 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
• Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • In a bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
    • Bake the crust for 8–10 minutes. Remove and let cool completely.
  • Make the Filling:

    • In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
    • Fold in the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, leaving some chunks aside for garnish.
  • Assemble the Pie:

    • Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
    • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  • Optional Topping:

    • Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
    • Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the chilled pie.
    • Garnish with chocolate shavings and extra Reese’s pieces.

  • Serve:

    • Slice and serve chilled for a delicious, indulgent treat.

Notes

For a firmer filling, chill the pie overnight.
• You can substitute part of the peanut butter with Nutella for a different twist.
• Make sure the cream cheese is well softened to ensure a smooth filling.
• Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar to suit your taste.
