Instructions
-
For the cheese crisps:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Spoon heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape the mounds into small circles or discs.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy. Allow the crisps to cool slightly on the baking sheet.
-
For the spinach dip:
- In a medium bowl, combine the spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and well-combined.
- If the dip is too thick, you can add a little bit of milk or cream to reach your desired consistency.
-
Assembly:
- Serve the cheese crisps warm with a generous dollop of spinach dip on top. You can also serve the dip separately as a dip for the cheese crisps.
Notes
- These cheese crisps can be made ahead of time. Simply store them in an airtight container and reheat them in the oven to get them crispy again.
- If you’re using fresh spinach, be sure to cook it well and remove excess moisture to prevent the dip from becoming too watery.
