Description

These Spinach Dip Cheese Crisps combine the creamy goodness of spinach dip with the crispy delight of cheese crisps. Perfect for a low-carb snack, appetizer, or party treat, they’re crispy, cheesy, and bursting with flavor. Ideal for those who love the taste of spinach dip but want a more crunchy bite.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the cheese crisps:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

For the spinach dip:

  • 1 cup cooked spinach, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • For the cheese crisps:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • In a bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
    • Spoon heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape the mounds into small circles or discs.
    • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy. Allow the crisps to cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  • For the spinach dip:

    • In a medium bowl, combine the spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and well-combined.
    • If the dip is too thick, you can add a little bit of milk or cream to reach your desired consistency.

  • Assembly:

    • Serve the cheese crisps warm with a generous dollop of spinach dip on top. You can also serve the dip separately as a dip for the cheese crisps.

Notes

  • These cheese crisps can be made ahead of time. Simply store them in an airtight container and reheat them in the oven to get them crispy again.
  • If you’re using fresh spinach, be sure to cook it well and remove excess moisture to prevent the dip from becoming too watery.
