Scale
- 4 slices sourdough or artisan bread
- 6 oz (170g) triple cream Brie, sliced
- 2 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey mixed with chili flakes)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- Optional: a handful of arugula or prosciutto for added flavor
Instructions
- Butter one side of each bread slice. Place two slices, buttered side down, on a flat surface.
- Layer each with sliced Brie, drizzle with hot honey, and add optional arugula or prosciutto if using.
- Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook each sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm with an extra drizzle of hot honey if desired.
Notes
- Use a lid while grilling to help the Brie melt faster.
- Triple cream Brie is extra rich — feel free to substitute with double cream Brie or Camembert for a lighter option.
- Pairs beautifully with a crisp apple or pear on the side.
